Did you spend a lot of money on your reclining furniture and the handle or cable broke? It's not an uncommon occurrence. That's why Choice Parts now offers these high quality, low profile black recliner handle-cable combos. There are two major industry standard cable lengths: 36 inches and 37 inches. Typically the longer cable is used in furniture 10 years old or newer with a few exceptions, and the shorter cable is for furniture 10 years old and older with a few exceptions. The longer length of this cable makes it so there's no guessing whether it will be long enough for your particular furniture. (If it's an inch too long you can wrap the cable around the mechanism at connection point to get rid of the extra inch.) While this recliner is the most commonly used mechanism for all major brands, there are a few that take a different fitting on the plastic end piece. Please check your fitting on the underside of your reclining furniture before buying.
