All the reviews are correct. Read all of them before you decide to buy the bed. I think the directions are horrible. Any warning you are given as you read each review is 100% correct. It's sturdy, I'll give it that, and it is cute. All in all I am pleased with it. It will do for now.

After reading several reviews, I was prepared for the worst. Luckily, I didn't experience any missing supplies, broken pieces, shredded packaging, or anything of the sort. The bed feels sturdy and looks nice, just as promised. I bought this bed online for $100, and its exactly what I expected.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.
My only negatives were...
(1) shipping - the box is obviously >100 lbs, so please be prepared to help the delivery driver lug this long, heavy package to your door. Its heavy!
(2)construction - most of the pieces seem sturdy, and the bed arrived with only a few minor blemished in the finish..none too exciting to mention on here. The manuf. could find a better way to attach the mouldings though - the process of putting in more than a dozen screws from the underside of the platform bed was exhausting. All in all, I put the bed together in about an hour.

This bed frame is very pretty. It is sturdy and seems like it will last us a long time. I have to say that putting it together was a HASSLE. me and my husband worked at this for about two hours, and it just wouldnt line up. maybe its just us, but it gave us heck. it really did. we almost gave up and put our mattress on the floor. but the finished product looks very nice. i am happy with it. i would recommend having clamps or painters tape to help keep it in place. good instructions though. beware the weight as well! very heavy, the ups guy was really unhappy with it.
