quite a find! (2008-12-29)
Bought this on a whim -- it was tough to see the detail in the photo -- and it turns out to be a great purchase. Super warm and ultra light, with a rich, deep red color and lovely patten in the knit that looks very classy and adult in our contemporary house.
Soft and cuddly...after a good wash! (2008-12-16)
The throw is a beautiful, vibrant red, and feels just like your favorite sweater. The length and width are great. Also, the knit is so stretchy that it seems larger than you would expect. There was only one slightly negative issue...well, okay two: The blanket packaging tells you that the throw is dry-clean only...which really isn't surprising for Chenille. However, when you pull the throw out of the package and get a whiff of it, you might think the dry-cleaning is a definite negative since you will have to clean it before you can use it! I needed my item in a hurry due to the cold, so I put it in the washing machine (cold water) as I've done successfully with other Chenille throws, and it came out sweet smelling and soft. I recommend it!
